Out and About in Hyderabad

To celebrate finishing exams, I meandered over to a hotel next to ISB to have dinner last night. This hotel, which I've eaten at three times now, has a special going with bottomless beer (Foster's, to be exact) and all-you-can-eat chicken kebabs for about $10. Only an idiot would price bottomless beer that low with me around. While eating dinner, a table of hellians and their terrible parents sat next to us. These kids were completely unruly. Anyway, after about a minute of overhearing them, I guessed to Woodson that the woman was from Long Island. Later, she came over and talked to us, because we were the only other foreigners at the restaurant. After she asked if we were Americans, I asked her if she was from Garden City - one of about three cities on Long Island that I've heard of (shoutout to McGovern). Immediately she respons and asks if I know Long Island. The only thing I know about Long Island is how to spot their terrible accents. As it turns out, I was correct and she was from a city only 5.3 miles away from my guess.

Golconda Fort

As one of our last experiences in India, Woodson and I went to Golconda Fort in Hyderabad today. It's completely massive and we wandered around for awhile. Perhaps the highlight was the army of school children. They all came up to us to ask our names and shake our hands. We felt like celebrities.
